And a Happy Holiday for you Kris.  I have had a nice holiday weekend so far spending time with my kids and grandkids that came in from out of town.  Memorial Day is a special day as it gives us a chance to reflect on all those heroes that died for our country.  We can never repay them for their sacrifice but, in some small way, we can remember and give them the honor and respect that they deserve.  I feel humbled to be a recipient of all the good things that I have living in this wonderful country and, in no small way, my good fortune is directly linked to those who died for our country.  I salute them.

VERY WELL SAID!  We need to honor the soldiers everyday, and then some! It is nice to spend time with the family, I sure appreciate it even more after fighting this disease.  Peace, and Good Will!

Hi Everyone,

Yes it is indeed a great feeling to be a "Free American". I have a bingo hall that raises funds for charitable organizations including veterans groups. I feel good when I see a van picking up vets for Dr. appointments knowing that the money used for those vans came from our hall. We have 1 veteran organization that cruzes the veterans hosip. waiting rooms & parking lot and finds families living in cars & waiting rooms when a patient is terminal. This organization uses money raised from bingo games to assist the family of the vet with a hotel room, a few warm meals and a more comfortable living enviorment until the patient passes. This is a gift I feel honored to be a part of and I can truly say that I have been thanked time & again by many veterans and the feeling is always I do very little in comparision to what our veterans have done for me.

May God Bless Each & Everyone of Them!!!!!!!
