There have been several post lately where some of our members or members wives are struggling with the advancement of this disease. I think it would be good to share our emotions and let everyone know and realize that what they are feeling is ok and there is hope. With friends, support and a positive attitude the body can achieve amazing things.
Just last week I was told my testosterone level had gone up and I was being put back on Casodex. Just hearing words like that from your doctor brings things to a realization that is hard to understand. This group does understand and I have gotten much encouragement.
I to have the hopes of fighting this as long as possible and spreading the word to men to begin testing as young as possible, but then there are days when I just want to be alone to try and deal with the emotions of the ensuing enemy.
Thanks to all hear for supporting and allowing us to be human with human thoughts and emotions.

peace and love

Dale,

You are so right. We all need each other. Support from this group (family) is what keeps me going every day. We are all in a battle that most of our friends will never understand completly. But everyone here does. You keep taking the Casodex, it's just a pill once a day. But it works.

I do believe that it is time for some of the emotions to flow. But the emotions that I feel today are those of blessings. I have been blessed so much through this fight. I have found all of you here at HW. My family and friends are so much closer. I look at things differently now than before. The little things are so much more important. Little things like planting a new flower and watching it bloom and grow. A fishing trip with family. Quite time just holding Johnnie's hand. Spending time in prayer for those that are far worse off than me. It all brings joy.

I love you all for your support and I freely give all I can to help you with your battles. We are a team. We will win. We will survive. Be blessed.

Well it's off to church and some more blessings. God is good, all the time!

War Eagle, baby.

Walt
