i was put on avodart after surgery and radiation, but I understand it was to drive the testosterone level down. The reason I say that is because I just had my blood work done and even though my psa was 0.11, my testosterone level was 57 so they put me back on Avodart and Casodex. I can't say I am 100% right on this.
