I did not have surgery but under going radiation in FLorida.  All I can do is wish you the best and tell you that I can almost guarantee someone here is in the same boat or has been, as you. Hang tough and stay positvie.

Welcome to the best prostate cancer forum! (In my humble opinion tongue ).

It will be good to get to know you better.  Please contribute and ask questions and feel as if you have always be with us.

There are a lot of caring people here waiting to talk to you.

Consider making a signature file with the Control Panel (as you can see others have done).  This will help others respond to you better (and you avoid repeating yourself :-) ).

Welcome jimmy .continence is a tricky deal some fair  better than others, at least your staying active .good for you my brother  ,my surgery was may 29th im doing fairly well ,however i too notice it becomes a little more difficult to control at night when the mucsles are tired ,im certain you will do well it does take some time, if i may id like to ask you a personal question with no dissrespect intended, are you phsycally well as far as weight and height perportionate , my doc ,did discuss that continence probs will take longer  if there is a weight problem . just passin it along this doc is one of the very best and has authored some impressive studies, keep you head up brother and remember if you are only 2 months out  your actually doing very very well in the continence dept.............................dirt     smurf

Sugery scheduled 5/29/08 - City of Hope - Dr. Mark Kawachi
 "First show of the day"
 and now for the new ive been waiting for
 FINAL PATH REPORT:gleason upgraded to 3+4 T2c bilateral disease,tumor involvment 5%
extra prostatic extention:absent
seminal vesical invasion :absent
pathological staging:pTNM pT2 ORGAN CONFINED
margins free of carcinoma
usable erections ;6-6-08 with little blue pill
continence; 1 pad a day, dry at night
