ok just going over and logging my labs for cholestral and psa's and noticed this:
Psa 1/1/2000    .5  " psa values assayed at FCMG labs uses an EIA methodology manf by Bayer for use on the Imund 1 analyzer.
Psa  7/1/2007   .99 " PSA values assayed at FCMG lab uses ans EIA method Manufactured by Tosoh for use on the nexia analyzer"
Psa 7/1/2008   1.01 psa  " psa values assayed at FCMG labs uses an EIA method manufactured by Beckman Coulter for use on the DXI analyzer.
Are these methods all the same ???? Are these why the diff in numbers ???

cvc--It looks like the test methodology is the same (EIA) but the first test was done using the first generation testing to the nearest tenth (0.5). Your two most recent tests, which are basically the same result, were done with the newer generation testing to the nearest hundredth.  In other words, your PSA rose by 0.5 since 2000.  Not sure if that is really significant in the lower range, especially over 7 or 8 years.
