Last night I had to call my Oncologist when I noticed my right calf was slightly swollen and firm (for the lack of better description).
He called me back in 10 minutes, yes it was him, not the service or someone else on call.

The short version is this; I had to keep it elevated last night and this morning I had an ultrasound.

Results: a small clot. Low I am on Lovenox, which I have to inject in my stomach, like insulin.

That was my day, I really looking forward to chemo treatment number 4 on Monday.

Sorry to hear about the clot, but glad it was in the calf and not elsewhere. I hope the chemo is kicking some cancer butt and that your PSA will be gone before you know it! All the best!

Things never go perfectly smoothly do they. Well here's to the Lovenox doing its job and no more clots while the chemo does its thing and hammers the PCa. Plenty of mojo headed your way.
