Don't know if you had laproscopic or open surgery but I was basically back to being able to lift heavy objects (being careful) 6 weeks out from my surgery - saying that I am sure every situation is a little different.  I also went back to work 3 weeks after surgery, but I have a desk job.  However, I do work out, and certainly do yard work etc.. My biggest problem in lifting is continence. Straining usually causes leakage.  Best of luck..

Clamp your kegle muscles each time and it could even turn into good therapy. You should be fine. Just life smart.

you should be ok but would run it by the doctor. one potential side effect of robotic surgery is getting a hernia. take it easy on the lifting until doctor says it is ok. i started doing yard work and lifting at the 8 week mark. however, it wasn't every day. i eased into it....
