Psa up from 0.14 to 0.16  4 months apart, Dr said it could be the margin of air in the test, said we will wait several more months and test again so the waiting game goes on , but I'm getting more use to it, It is just part of my life  after joining this PC club
Also thank you all for your thoughts

Mike,
There's lots of time for decisions since it is very slow in growing or not growing at all. I would stay away from HT right now if I was you. Give it a little more time. the magic number will be three straight increases unless it picks up the pace. Hang in there, buddy! Stay positive!!!!

I was told HT could keep the PSA at bay, in some cases for quite some time.
If in fact the PSA begins to rise and again as I have been led to believe after radiation there is a time factor involved less time than if Radiation was used for the original therapy but still Time needs to be factored in.
WE are a waiting and a watching group no matter what the procedures implemented are hang in there.

Sorry to hear that your PSA wasn't lower, but hope that the next one drops! It is such a tiny fluctuation, hopefully, it is just a fluctuation in the reading. All the best for your next tests and until then, I hope you can stay positive!

Any increase would concern any of us but it is not such a great movement over 4 months. In all probability it is as was suggested a small hiccup in the reading. A few more readings should give a better idea of what's happening so tough as it is be positive. Much mojo headed your way for a positive outcome.

Mike

Here's hoping the slow down in your numbers continuing down is just a time issue. I know when I started salvage radiation my doctor told me it could take a year or more for it to finishing coming down. The waiting is hard I know but your in my thoughts for the numbers to be next time and it just had a little more work to finish up. Hang in there and the good news is it appears to be stable at the moment.
