Been taking a daily 25mg dose of Viagra, and 1 full 100 when trying no luck at all. Is it possible that Cialis and or Levitra could work for some people where Viagra did not? Or is it the same drug with a different name?

Thanks!

They have the same mechanism of action, but different drugs work differently for different people. I would definitely recommend trying the different ones out. (I don't have first hand experience, but I use to sell one of the ED drugs, so I have heard numerous first hand accounts from physicians of patients that have responded to one and not the other.) Good luck!

Most docs will cycle thru the 3 major ones during the ED rehab process, to see if another will work. sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Want know til you try.. wink

Yes this class of drugs efficacy does tend to differ between individual persons. The drugs do have a slightly different molecular structure so as not to infringe on drug patents. I find however, that whilst all of them are effective for my ED and allowing me ti have intercourse, Cialis gives me a very long lasting severe headache. Levitra causes flu like symptoms, stuffy nose, blocked ears etc. And Viagra from the Phizer Drug company also causes mild headaches. Fortunately with the generic viagra from alldaychemist, it works a treat and no headaches whatsoever.

**** Funny isn't it, us men don't mind a bit of a headache to enable us to have sex, whilst for women, a headache is a good opportunity to abstain. LOL

The different meds can definitely have different results for an individual. I tried Levitra first and the side effects (headache, nasal in my case) were quite strong while I got virtually no help for ED. I tried Cialis next, same side effects but much milder, and considerably better help on the ED. I haven't tried Viagra.

That being said, do keep in mind that from a nerve recovery viewpoint, you're still fairly early in the process. I was also having much more difficulty in your time frame than I'm having now. Stay positive, and be aware that some patience may be required!

My uro wrote an article in our local paper stating that in clinical trials he had a much higher sucess rate with Levitra than any of the others. He started me out with Viagara, I see him tomorrow and I suspect he will want me to switch to Levitra.

I have tried them all with limited success.  It seems the 100mg Viagra is the best for me.  The Cialis works longer, but the day after back ache that then lasts two days is just not worth the effort.  I can prevent the back ache by reducing the amount of medicine, but then it does less.

I have only taken Levitra a couple of times and have no real opinion.  Overall it is just great to be cancer free and my big challenge is trying to get big again.

The Big three didn't help me either so I tried Trimix injections and get very good results. If you are interested I will be happy to go into more detail. It's not for everyone but it sure works for my wife and me. Good Luck

It is possible that a different drug may be successful. I initially tried Levitra and noticed some enlargement, then Cialis, same result. Viagra, both brand name and generic from ADC seem to work the best if not the fastest. Have some facial flushing with all three, seems to lessen with time. I am not sure if the meds are working better or if I am having recovery of natural function, which I hope is the case. The doses I have tried are Viagra 100mg, Cialis 5mg and 20 mg, and Levitra 20mg. I am lucky in that I have not had any backaches or significant headaches with any of them, but the facial flushing is worse with Levitra. All three are the same class of drug, just different chemical makeup as I understand it to allow Levitra and Cialis to remain active longer due to longer half-life in the body before being metabilized.

Of the three, we had the best success with Levitra (and only when needed).  Apparently Viagra and Levitra are expelled from your system quicker, Cialis takes longer so most doctors recommend Viagra or Levitra first, then Cialis - so I'm told.

I take 10mg Cialis on Monday night and Friday night. It keeps me "good to go" anytime. I have no side effects from it. I get 80% erections naturally. The 10mg Cialis puts me at 100%.

Hey How's your vision with taking all these drugs? Cialis works the best for me. Levitra didn't last long at all. Never took Viagra
