Sam, sounds like my first time. Yes, not everyone has success the first or even 100th time. It is disheartening to want it and have it not happen. Time and practice will help. Yes, the pump is uncomfortable, I still hate mine, after 16 months. It is a task to use it daily, but I make myself do it, hoping it will help eventually. What you must remember is to keep up a regular schedule of pumps, pills and pull (manual stimulation), maybe even injections later on.
If the cost of the Cialis is prohibitive, there is the generic Levetra and Viagra available for the long term use. In the meantime, don't give up, or crash into the dumps. You are very early in the process and have lots of time to get it back...
