I have recuring prostate cancer( psa, 0.16 0.23) after seven years (seeds, radiation). I had a Prostacint a couple of months ago that was positive. My urologist suggested Cyro. My Cyro surgeon told me a biopsy must be done to make sure it is local or no surgery can be done. Now, my radiation oncologist informs me that a biopsy should never be done to a prostate gland that had been previously seeded? I am now totally confused here. Help Please.
Ronalde where do you live? My urologist who is also the director of research here at the local university does much cryo, he would be one you may want to talk to. You can also contact him through his web site.
