I've been following how long some of us have had to wait on bone scan results, PSA tests and such. It doesn't have to be that way. Anytime I have anything done I request a copy of the results a day or two after the test has been conducted not from my doctor but from the place doing the test who will be sending the results to my doctor. I also request a cd of the test if it's a scan or such, I have yet to be turned down on any of the requests.
There is another side to getting the results before seeing the doctor and it is that you may not completely understand what the results say but I have yet to run into that situation.
I hate to see any of us being put through the waiting two weeks or so. It's ridiculous.
