Hi Everyone
just received my ct +bone scan back. bone scan is good. one thing i am concerned about is it
says prostate is markedly enlarged with a prominent impression seen at the bladder base. does that mean it
might be in my bladder. meet with doctor wed. would appreciate any info.
 thank you

good news about the bone scan. I don't know what it means about the rest. It sounds to me like they are saying the gland is enlarged to a degree that it is pressing up into the bladder somewhat. Not the cancer, if known, but the prostate gland itself. If so, that's not uncommon for most of us big gland guys. That was the case with me (110gm removed at surgery)- the pressing into the bladder part, along with the reducing the size of the tube running thru the prostate. lol. Keep us up on what they say.
