Just got back from the doctor's office. He pulled out catheter #5 while I was standing up, that was a first for me. Even though it was a large, thick one, it came out with only a little discomfort. He assured me he would be there till 5 pm in case something goes wrong. He explained to me the surgical procedure that he did last Tuesday, and he refered to it as removing a "wedge" and that he really enlarged the
opening. I am still set for my first post surgery PSA by Feb 9th. The dr. knew I was "gun shy" after all this ordeal, but he's confident that there should be enough
opening to keep my relieved. Sitting here at home, pad on course, sitting on a thick towel (just in case). I just need to get through the next 24 hours without a blockage, and I will feel like a new man, really.
