Hi All:

Here is a news article on some research be Dr Barken et al that shows some promise for future treatment options. It does not say so in this article but I read a similar article addressing the same subject that stated that the drug companies have little interest in developing the drug because it is not patentable being from a natural source. I.E. and opiate.

Anyway, interesting reading.

I talked with Barken once years ago on his website, he is retired but still helping out on PCa issues. He has avice information for patients and such, that is free or generalized help.

You would have to check it out for yourself, he also writes articles for Paact Newsletter and is on their board of directors etc.

www.pcref.org  is his gig.

I'm cautious since this has only been studied in mice. In many. many instances the results fail to translate to humans. Time may tell.

As for Big Pharma not being interested, I agree so perhaps Dr. Barken should design a study and approach the PCF for funding?
