I'm a little over a year out, and have been periodically having fairly sharp pains that seem to emanate from where the prostate used to be. Anybody else, and theories on the cause?

TIA

What does your surgeon say when you mention the pain?

I have had aching, particulary in the morning which went on from the surgery and became more intense after the IMRT. It subsided to almost unnoticable untill the saturation biopsy and was intense for almost the entire month follow the sat biopsy and has now subsided almost entirely.

A sharp pain would concern me.

Best wishes. Scott

I am 10 months post DaVinci and am having some issues in that area like you guys.  When questioning my male nurse from the Uro surgeon he stated sounds like internal hemroids.  I am seeing the butt Doc soon and am due at 55 years old for a scope.

I may be crazy but it seems worse just after I do a couple of days with Viagra.
