I need some advice as to what some of my options are- I am a 2 1/2 year Post Implant with problems ranging from loss of over half my length and approximately half my girth- The Dr told me some of my length would probably return with use--NOT . I was pretty well endowed as is my father and my son all 3 being well built and over 6' 4' tall, but now I dont have enough length to even have satisfactory sex with my 90lb (thin) wife. I also have tremendous perspiration of my scrotum almost constantly. Can anyone lead me in the right direction to get some information on what the problem may be- I dont want to go back to the DR that originally BS me about losing an inch of length-- that was a joke- closer to 4 inches- Thank you for any insight you can offer... bwwj

Hi med dude -
Welcome to the forum -
I have had a lot of experience with this particular problem. I'll be glad to compare notes and see if I can help. Feel free to contact me via email. There are a lot of variables that cause length loss.

Med Dude,

Would you take the time to write a profile on this excellent forum?  It should give information as to why you had the penile implant in the first place.  Other guys who are thinking about an implant would really benefit by reading your profile.  If you continue to post here, everyone will follow... and I mean just about everyone... everyone will follow your postings regarding this problem and will desire to see how you resolve your problem.

I am thinking you must have  had prostate cancer or you probably would not have posted here.  That is the reason I had to have both AUS and the penile imhadplants.  I do know of one other guy who lost quite a bit of length and girth whose original problem was removal of the prostate. That surgery seems to create the most risk for penile length and girth loss. I lost approximately 3/4's of an inch and, yes, even that much is frustrating. I want everyone to know that although it is frustrating, I am still very, very glad to have one that does in deed work for me.  I have read of other guys who have had the implant who regained all of their length and girth back after time... but not that much time.  There are a couple of other sites you can go to.  You can find a couple of those sites in a post I placed some time ago, which I updated a couple of weeks ago.  I will give it a bump upward so that it will be easier for you to find.  It is (something like) "Q's & A's about implants".  That's not the exact title on the subject line, but it's close.

Art662 is by far the most experienced on this forum with penile implant problems.  You can read his profile and see that for a fact.  It really does sound as if you got a bummer for a surgeon, but of course that does not mean you really did.  The thing now would be to fix what does not work for you.  I hope we can be of help to you.  If you want to contact me via email, I will also be glad to talk with you.  If you happen to be near Dallas/Ft. Worth, there is a seminar on Artificial Urinary Implants/Penile implants this Thursday (Feb. 12) here in Dallas.  That might be a good starting place, if you are close enough. You can call 887.433.2873 for more information.
