My husband just had RP surgery 2 months ago. For some reason i have noticed that his skin is loose, I can pinch his calves, and was wondering what's going on..Also, worried because Dr. found something in his left lung. His other organs seem fine. Can cancer reach his lung while bypassing other organs?.. Thanks for any help i can get.. Bless you all.. shakehead

Thanks for your advice.Would like to mention that when results came back, pathogy reported PSA score was higher than first reported.Would reccommed that you do as much research as possible. As of now, they took out catheter and stomach drain 2 weeks ago.He feels much better, just trying to cope with it one day at a time.  Will be keeping in touch with everyone..I need as much information as i can get..   Have Faith.. Maritza

Maritza (aka-snuggleup) nice to see that you are working on this as a team. I am sure you meant to say his post pathology score was higher after it was taken and reviewed, and not his psa score. Hey, with all the craziness happening that is easy to mistate something like that.

The only qualifications I might have as a doctor, would be my Phd~ P _iled   h _igh   on   d _rugs while fighting this PCa, it is purple haze at its finest. Get the lung checked out via scans and anyother reasonable methods so as to know. Do not let the unknown overwhelm you if at all possible, focus on goodness and higher powers.

Re your pinching the skin I would think your husband has lost his body tone.
Before my op. I was a very fit 75kg but laying around I lost my body tone.
10 weeks down the track I'm back to walking and getting on with life and seem to be getting back to how I was.
Still cant do anything real physical though like riding my trail bike hard.
I'm still a little sore up the backside and penis but not as bad as it was.
