Noticed a bulge that was not belly fat recently. GP thinks it's an incisional hernia since it's located directly beneath the far right-hand scar in my abdomen from the robotic surgery a couple of years ago. Great, another surgery in my future. Getting older sucks sometimes...although I know it beats the alternative.

I did search on the topic here, but got no returns. Seems some of you have had these as well. What are your experiences?

I had my abdominal hernia located above my belly button  repaired a year before my PC surgery. No issues here.

If you search "hernia" you'll find a few threads on the topic.

Thanks for they replies. I'm familiar with an inguinal hernia as I had one repaired about 20 years ago. I just wanted to know how many of us developed incisional hernias after prostatectomies.
