Hello Everyone,  I just had my "other side" checked out.  I had a colonoscopy today.  I was overdue because my PCa treatment had lasted over two years.  The test went well.  The Doctor did remove two polups but was 99% sure they would not be cancerous.  I am in the high risk group because my mother had CCa at the age of 37.  Yes, she is fine and went to my test today.  Like PCa, if any of you have family history of CCa please keep up on your test.  I think I would rather have a prostate biopsy over doing the cleansing needed for the colonoscopy.

As far as my AUS and PCa everything is going very good.  I am so thankful the AUS is working so well.  I think my next PSA is in July.  I wish all you "New Guys" well in your search, decision, and treatment option.

Hi Kelly,
For all the discussion about incontinance and side effects, you are a model patient in patience. Having befriended you too, I know that your attitude in infectious and amazing. There are many ways to combat prostate cancer and you have shown that the best way is with a positive attitude. I'll chat with you soon, possibly tomorrow (you know what I am up to tonight).

PS: sorry about that OU thing this weekend...

Peace, brother!

Hi KW.  Glad your colonoscopy went well.  I have had a couple and had polyps as well as divirticulitis.  I agree, the prep for one of those is the pits.  By the way, even thought I went to Oklahoma State, I was pulling for OU this weekend.  I have been gone from Oklahoma long enough that I want all their teams to do well.  Unfortunately, my daughter - who also went to OSU - is not there yet.  She only thinks its a good day when OSU wins an OU loses. Maybe she'll come around sometime!  Best wishes.  David

Hi, KW
Hated the prep. Worse than the procedure. Have had 4 colonoscopies due to family history. First one was botched and wound up in the hospital for a week. Hated to see OU lose as it was the last Big 12 team in, and even though I"m a KU fan, rooted for MU also. Gotta go with Roy's boys now. Hope you enjoyed that first meal after the procedure. To me, a cheeseburger never tasted so good.
