Like a piece of debris left behind by one of our current floods, I'm popping up again.  The advantage of having work done on your cpu by a relative is that it's free.  The downside is that I get it back whenever I get it back.  To those who may benefit slightly, I will give as brief a summary as possible.  2007-psa up to 4.5 from 1 the previous year.  Biopsy resulted in only one positive sample out of 10.  Serious health problems with parents made for a slight delay in surgery (my choice of treatment).  Removal of prostate showed, (doctor's quote) "really bad cancer throughout the prostate."  I was told that I would have had 4-5 years without the surgery.  All psa's since surgery undetectable.  Nerves were spared because the doc didn't know the true situation at time of surgery, but apparently he got it all.  I still have some incontinence problems since the surgery that was done in 10/2007, but that apparently is more due now to the parkinson's disease.  Get that lab work done guys and as for "slow moving" and "watchfull waiting" that's wishful thinking and it may make your roses bloom, but it won't do a thing for PC.
