I am going to just have one thread here at H.W. rather than chiming in on whatever I am feeling or thinking at the moment. That said, welcome to my thread. It is 5am here on the west coast and I wish I was sleeping but alas I have been awake for many hours. I woke up from a dream that I was lying in a hospice bed. Now thats a drag man. Try as I might, sleep would return no more. I did enjoy listening to my wife snoring away. Well I owe I owe so off to work I go. Todd
P.S. I will post my signature on this first post and any replys I make to ya'll on this thread I will turn that feature off. Have a great day.

living1963,
Wow! You have been through a lot but the good news is that you are much better now with no major problems and a low PSA. As far as your nightmare, it reminded me of a poster I saw that says:

Yesterday is only a dream
and tomorrow is only a vision
but today well lived
makes every yesterday a dream of happiness
and every tomorrow vision of hope

So for us PC sufferers try to keep a positive attitude and live one day at a time.

Hi Ed,
Thank you for the post. I always enjoy a good word. I am totally positive. I feel like I have an awesome outlook. Not only that but I am good looking, intelligent and talented as well. lol. Not to mention modest. My dream really wasnt a nightmare, it was just unsettling. I know that stage 4 prostate cancer is terminal. I know that when God wants me to come home that I may be in that hospice bed. I intend on living long enough to die of something other than Pca. It was just a real vivid dream. One by one my organs shut down and everyone was waiting and crying. I think the worst part of the dream was the fact that it may very well one day happen just like that. Oh well. I have to log off I must go coach my daughters softball team. Later Todd

Evening, Todd

I never put a lot of stock in dreams except the one where I won the big college football game with an amazing catch, and dated the head cheerleader...no, wait. That was someone else's dream. Mine was the one where I had to hitchhike home with a hangover and got hit by a bus.

May you have many more years of listening to your wife's snoring. I'd like that better.

Peace and love,
Bob

Hi Guys and Gals,
First softball game of the season and we lost 3 to 1. Our girls had way more fun than the other team who's parents and coaches were screaming at them the whole game. I honestly dont understand the competition level of parents of 10 year olds. The "Girls Just Want To Have Fun." Thats what I love about the movie sandlot. No coaches. Well we made it to friday. I gotta get dressed for work. Have a good day everyone. Todd

Todd,
It was amazing that all of my kids grew up without any of them wanting to do sports. Us parents never did sports either, but we never discouraged them if they had been interested. They were too busy doing artistic/creative things or just being nerds in general.

Wife and I are about to head out for our long over due vacation to Florida. My only concern is a dumb one, even though I am doing well from the PC so far, I am nervous being that far away from my doctors and familiar hospitals. Will be gone for 5 days, St. Petersburg is my wife's hometown, so she is excited.

And the good thing is, HW will get a Purgatory-free break, as we decided not to take any laptops with us, and take a break from even the net. Nothing I have going on can't wait 5 days. Won't even be lurking.

Hope you are doing well.

Have a great vacation David. Drink some good wine and relax and forget about Pca. I seldom have moments when I forget I have it but when I do have them they are a real blessing. Enjoy the sun and the family. It is raining here once again but the sun has been promiced to appear for an 80 degree weekend. We have another softball game tonight so I hope it hurrys. Todd

It's already hotter than I can handle in Florida, but thank goodness for everything a/c. We won't even hit the beaches till after the sun passes over late in the afternoon. I would burn up in minutes. I use to do slow pitch softball teams for church leagues many years ago, at the time, I was their only left handed pitcher, but I sucked at everything else, lol. How about a good game of chess?

Chess would be alright. It be good for me to lose once in a while at things and although I love the game I totally suck at chess. I am so glad the work week is almost over. I'm tired. My choices for weekend r and r are salmon fishing, kayaking, rock hunting or beer drinking. I think the beer drinking is not really a choice as it compliments all the others. Todd
