I haven't been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, but I wasn't sure where else to ask these questions. If I'm in the wrong place, I apologize to everyone.
I recently had surgery to reduce the size of my prostate. For the record it was Green laser Transurethro Resectioning of the Prostate. All seemed to go pretty well, but now - about four weeks after surgery - I seem to have a couple of problems I didn't necessarily have before. A new on is considerable urgency during the day. Not much volume, but very sudden urgency. An old problem is frequency at night. I can't figure this one out. I might sleep almost a couple of hours before I need to get up, but there are actually times when I have to go again only seven or eight minutes after the last trip. Volume is always about the same and I always pretty much "feel" like I am finished. Waiting around for more doesn't yield much result although it has in the last few days, somewhat. "Pushing" has no effect whatsoever.
All in all, it almost seems like my bladder has shrunk. That's the only thing I can come up with that would explain the symptoms. I am sure there must be other explanations and I would be delighted to hear any input anyone might have about this.
