I am trying to help a friend who has total erectile dysfunction some 15 months post surgery. (even though nerves spared , this seems to be not uncommon ).  He has tried Viagra along with Caverject injections but too painful- research shows many forum members have had the same problem with Caverject but had success with Trimix or Bimix. He has also ordered an Osbon vacuum pump.
Problem is that local doctors and pharmacists are not familiar with Trimix\ Bimix. ( we are in Canada ). Perhaps it isn't approved or available here. Can someone shed any light- or suggestions - can it be gotten online ?

I can give you the link to a list of pharmacies used by the guys here, but I am afraid all of them are in the US. I supppose a call to their order line would answer any questions about thier ability to ship into Canada. I am sure there are lots of compounding pharmacies in Canada who can do the job, and like most in the US can do it online and with UPS or similar shipping. All they need is a copy or fax of the prescription and a credit card. I''ll see if I can find some more info for you.

As Steve says, your mileage may vary. However, the standard Bimix prescription seems to be this, for the guys here.
Bimix- 30mg/ml Papaverine, 1mg/ml Phentolmine,

The only difference in Trimix is the addition of Alprostadil. The most common doses are adding either 10 or 20mcg to the above Bimix solution, hence
Trimix-30mg/ml Papaverine, 1mg/ml Phentolmine, and either 10 mcg or 20mcg/ml Alprostadil.

For most of us, it usually will take probably 3 or more times the Bimix , on average, as the Trimix to acheive the same result. Bimix takes more, but have less a chance of the aching that some people have with Alprostadil in any concentration. However, Trimix, if tolerated, is much more effective and cost effective. 5ml of Trimix costs around $95US, with shipping and 5ml Bimix costs around $50 US with shipping. Trimix is more temperature sensative and has a shorter shelf life, but does do a better job of geting the firm erection. In my case, I need .5cc of Bimix to get the same results as .1c of Trimix. My normal does of Trimix is .3cc.
