We see these thingss here often enough.
When I started moderating this site, I wanted to hit the spammers and keep them away. But the hardest posts to read are of those who have bought into many of these things. If someone wants to take suppliments, they need to clear them with their doctors first. There are a few good ones when taken in moderation. Simply put, I have been around this disease long enough to have seen some pretty off the wall stuff when it come to suppliments and other types of holistic or natural remedy. My take on it is, if your doctor OK's it with the treatment he is giving for prostate cancer, then have a good day. But it really aches my heart when I see somebody falling for what is obvious scam. I have a short trigger for spamming here at HW. And I also have had too quick a trigger on some of the patients who came here in full advertisement of one of these "remedies". I regret the latter but only somewhat. For that person it's not cool, but for others that may jump on that path as well, But when it comes to predators that are clearly violating the site spamming rules, they will be deleted quickly. And if anyone is telling you to forego treatment and buy their products...uh...I hope you are not listening. We have had a pretty good run lately.
Great post, David...Good to see you again!
