Save your money. Go to the sex shop and get the adjustable constriction ring. They look like a lassoo made of surgical rubber tubing and have a bead that the loop goes through. It costs less than $10 and does EXACTLY what the actis band does. It seems hysterical that a "medical" company makes the same thing that sex shops have been selling for years and can charge a lot more!

Adjustable constriction rings are the best friend of every PCa guy battling ED. It turns the "almost there" into fully usable. Be sure to trim/shave pubic hair. All rings can rip hair out and ruin an otherwise great time.

My urologist prescribe the Actis band and I got one and gave it a try.  It did not work for me.  The purpose of the band is to prevent venous leakage

but from my point of view if you cannot get the blood into the penis is the first place then how is blocking venous leakage going to work.  I still promote injections as they are almost always effective and give as natural and erection as possible.  The only difference my wife and I see with the Trimix injection erection is that the penis head does not get as firm as it did prior to my surgery.  Other then that the rest of the penis is very firm.

Keep trying!!

I have never tried the Actis band, but have tried the adjustable constriction ring as Paul described. I have never found it to be very satisfactory. Even without hair getting in the way, skin still gets in the way, and I find it difficult to adjust without pinching -- ouch smhair

I have found ordinary office rubber bands to be highly effective. Mine are around 2" diameter and doubled over, they give a snug fit -- I normally use four. They work with a cheap VED (pump) too, and are much superior to the horrible sleeves that came with mine.

You can apply at least some constriction before inducing the erection. Arteries (inflow) run up the center while veins (outflow) run on the outside, so constriction operates on the veins much more than arteries. For me, blood still gets in, but finds it harder to escape.

My thoughts the same Piano. Told my husband that i was going to use an office rubber band, seems to me that it would serve the same purpose. Anyhow, going to try it tomorrow, and see if together with Levrita we will get results. I just hate the fact that we have to plan ahead of time. Don't want to sound selfish, but feel neglected, and exhausted just trying to get him excited. With Levrita you have to work even harder with stimulation. Not to mention, I think he concentrates to much on seeing results, than just enjoying the moment. Thanks all for lending me your ear..GB
