Went to Uro this afternoon to talk about ED injections.  He prescribed a tri-mix they call triple agent which is 25 Prostaglandine, 75 Papaverine, and 2.5 Phentolamine which is a little stronger than the normal trimix.

He started with .25 ml of the compound.  A little intimidatin to see that 1/2" needle go in, a little uncomfortable, but WOWEE Willy started to move.  He hasn't done that since 4/13/09.  Man did that feel good, and natural.

.25 was probably a little light for my huge organ ( joke - ha,ha), so I ended uo with about a half erection for about an hour.  Tomorrow will try .50 ml.  Says that 3 times a week is OK.  That will be an increase over pre-PCa frequency, but I do have a little catch-up to do.

Hopefully tomorrow night the Mrs. and I will have our first sharing time in a few months.  Can't wail.

Som for all you guys in about the same boat as I am, there is a way to get things going again.  Hopefully I won't need tr-mix for too long until I can get it done on my own.  Grow nerves grow.

Met with my Dr. yesterday. He said I was on target healing and he was not willing to start me on injections. He has some concerns about they injections and the possiblilty of scar tissue. He insisted that I try MUSE first. He also told me that he does not use Tri-mix or Bi mix. He mentioned what he perscribes but I can't remember. I am dissapointed in one side but pleased that the thinks I am moving in a way of recovery. I explained to him that I was impatient. All he could say was that he understood. So next wk I will try MUSE for the first time.

Jeff,

The Trimix really does work. I don't have the exact dose yet, but old Willy is getting stiffer and stiffer.

At some point I suppose you will have to decide who is in control of your recovery. The Uro is able to reccommend, but ultimately, you are the boss.

You can find enough guys on this forum who have had good experiences with Trimix. It is reaonable in price and works well. Some of the Uros are paidin some way to promote the high ticket drugs that cost something like $125 a hard on.

Will be inyterested to see how the Muse does. Keep in touch. At least now I know if have to go to radiation next, and it does give me permanent ED, I can still have sex with my wife.

You are correct. I will give the MUSE a try. The pharmmacy here in BR does not keep it in stock and has to order it. 3 pharmacys have said not availablt till Monday. I will have to wait till Thursday to order. I am headed out of town for a fun trip to San Antonio till Thudrsday PM. Will turn in the script at that time. So I guess first try will be at best a wk from Monday. Till then will pump and play!!!!!! At the next appointment if I do not have success I will Demand to give Tri-min a spin. If he refuses I guess I will have to try to find a new Uro. This guy is GREAT dealing witbh the Cancer but I am not sold on his ED protacal just yet.
