It is now 25 hours since getting my cath out yesterday and am doing Great! I would estimate that I am 99.5% DRY. I really pushed the fluids yesterday and on average was pee'ing fine about every hour. Last night I slept in my underware with out a PAD! Woke up about 4am and used the bathroom. Underware was slightly damp almost like a 'sweatie feeling'. This morning I drank a large glass of orange juice and walked 1 3/4ths miles! No Drips, Stopped once on the walk and pee'd away and was able to stop/start the flow numerous times while pee'ing.

The only thing to note is a burning or 'heavy feel' when done peeing. Have others had this feeling?
Age at diagnosis 54, PSA 5.1

Congrats on getting it out...Sounds like everything is going really well.

Since you're still healing, the burning feeling sounds normal..

Good news on being dry!
I had the burning for about three weeks.  Awfully painful at times.
Remember that your bladder and urethra are getting adjusted to a new configuration.

As an update, I'm still peeing strong. Last night I started to put a pad in and my wife said you don't need it so I took it back out. Was 100% Dry during the day yesterday and during the night! At least this hurdle is behind me. I'm still pushing fluids during the day and pee about every 1.5 hours.
