Since getting my Catheter out I have been very dry with no need for any pads. I have been wearing boxer's. Yesterday I didn't have any clean boxers so put on a pair of briefs. I started having leakage! After about 6 hours of this I did some laundry and then switched back to the boxer's. I'm curious if any one else has experienced this. I'm assuming that the leakage might have been caused from some pressure since the briefs are more tight fitting. I stopped at the store last night and picked up some more boxers. Today has been dry once again with no problems.

Larry, that has to be some kind of coincidence. When I was in my original drying out period, I liked the extra security of briefs, to catch anything. With boxers, its just going to run down your legs and make your pants wet. I also learned to almost only wear black pants during that time. Good luck.

I know it was weird but I've had no leakage while wearing boxers so don't have to worry about pads!

Larry,
I have both boxers and briefs and I'm dry with both except if I over exercise at which point I may have a few drops at the end of the day. Did you by any chance do a lot of physical activity when had your little leak?

Larry, whatever works for you, works for you, and that is what is important. The only time I used boxers, is when I have been on my lont stints with catheters, easier to work the tube than with briefs.

Ed,

No Didn't have any extra activity per say. It was actually in the morning before lunch. Just one of those things but glad I'm still staying dry.

I've used 1 pad since surgery and that is it.
