...I think that this forum is the best on the Internet...A question,...I have found that I have a better erection when I skip my Hypertension med on the day that I take Levity....I take Norvasc ,a vascular relaxant, for hypertension and have done for 10 years or so,but I find that I feel too relaxed when I have them together on that same day .... I also find that the ED drugs make me very focused/have reduced anxiety-mellow feeling and I sleep like a baby that evening...I do however get a greater amount of anxiety/depression the follow day.....I do suffer from a bit of depression and asked GP about this...He `said that the happy pills kill the sex drive...So I decided to stay with  the sex drive... Any thoughts....Jack

I'd check with the doc about skipping BP drugs. Lots of them require a regular- daily amount in the system, with no low levels dropping to keep control. Skipping a day may do wonders for the ED but MIGHT come at a risk of heart related issues. Ask the doc...

I too, wouldn't skip the BP med without strict doctor's approval, could be dangerous in the long run. For depression, if you need a med for that, can tell you first hand that the Lexapro/Celexa drugs and their generics work well for minor depression, anxiety, and even painic disorder, but they will eliminate any natural sex drive. Doesn't keep you from performing if you want to, but just takes the entire thought out of your head. Good luck.

I agree with James. Skipping the BP drugs could put you at risk. I'm on Zestril and have to take it every day.

All the ED drugs do reduce your blood pressure but only for a short time. I discovered that if I took a Zestril and Cialis within an hour of each other, I would get dizzy because my BP dropped into 100/60 range.

If anything a controlled BP helps yous sex drive

The 1st thing an ED doc will check is to see if you have an elevated BP, if you did they would put you on a BP med anyway

A Heart attack or Stroke from high BP will most certainly affect your sex drive.
