It is truly amazing how much we can live with our lot in life if we can only learn to continue to take everything in stride and with a positive nature and approach.

My wife and I were talking over breakfast this morning and she was telling me about a scene in one of her favorite TV shows last night.

Apparently the wife was trying to talk her husband into delaying his departure for work and asked him in her best sultry voice, "Wouldn't you rather stay home and play Python in the Forrest".

I chuckled and told my wife that the best we could hope for was "A snake in the grass, and it would have to be a pygmy rattler. I would just stand at the end of the bed, shake it's little tail and make clicking noises.

We have been laughing all day. Every time she passes by, she wiggles the tip of her little finger and hisses at me.

Just needed to share with you guys the joys of a truly great relationship.

Thanks for the humor Sonny and I am glad you and your wife can laugh about this. I hope most of us here can learn to enjoy the affection and love that our humanity can offer in the absence of sexual intercourse. If we give ourselves permission to believe that love can exist without sex the possibilities are endless.
In the mean time keep the snake in the grass and tell your wife to keep hissing.

peace to you

Dale,

Glad you enjoyed the story. She is still hissing. She is truly having some fun with this one.

You are right about your statement of enjoying the fulfillment of life also. However, I would differ with you on one aspect. Having a great sex life can occur without the presence of an erection. So the absence of of it does not signal the end of the sex life. Truly to a great degree it actually can be enhanced. But that's another topic for another time.

I just wanted to share some real honest humor on a Friday afternoon.

Thank you guys. I hoped you would enjoy the story.

My wife is still laughing about it. She has been reading over my shoulder today and laughing. She has been hissing and laughing so much I think she is developing a hiss with a lisp.

Jeff,

Glad you enjoyed the story. It's 12:40 am and just going to bed. Went in to say good night to my wife and the last thing she did was wave that little pinky and hiss. Started us laughing all over again. Laughed so darn hard we both had tears rolling down our cheeks.

May have to put up with this one for a while. She is definitely a gem of a keeper.

Oh Sonny,

You crack us up !!  I haven't laughed this good in quite some time.  How great it is that you both, after all that you have both been through over the last couple of months, can keep that humor at that level.   We (my wife) and I so envy your positive, upbeat attitude.

Hope you "little" rattler comes to life sometime soon. Of course, I'm wishing the same for myself.  Yes, I know, being selfish again.  But, I sure miss those great, functional erections.

Keep the faith and the humor, and thanks so much for sharing.
