As of this evening we have the following planning to attend the event if it takes place;

corvetteman3 - aka Jeff 1
Ed C
Worriedguy - aka Jeff 2

At this time the list is a little thin for the for the following reasons;

dedicated bus to the gambling ship- good thing their is only one driver,
the hall for the Valentines Day dinner and dance - may have to move it to the kitchen,
the band outnumbers the attendees (this is not good)
not good when the invited speakers outnumber the attendees
the official greeters at Disney World - Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs outnumber us.

We'll leave it open for a few days, but we may have to make a tough decision to postpone until many of our brothers either finish their RT, hit the lottery, see business turn around, throw off their caths and etc.

More updates to follow,

I'm in the wait for the end of the recession camp and the business turn around.

So, if each member here just sent us a $100,000 purchase order tomorrow for some metal parts of some sort, that would be a real help.

You can count on two wife Ingid and me. It's only an hour and a half drive for us. Be about a ummm, two pad drive. BTW, Valentines day is my birthday and if anyone wants to give me a present I'm always short these days of Tena pads or Depends.

Any chance of a golf outing with all the other plans?

We're having big surf right now from Ida that brushed by 200 mi. to the West.

Might be just a little hiccup in the plans. Check my other post about surgery to radiation in 8 weeks, it's a new land speed record.

Not sure how this will affect the planning for February, but, I may be just a tad busy for the next 7 or 8 weeks.

We'll see. I'll try to figure it out real soon. Just gotta get my head wrapped around today's developments first.

Sonny, not telling you what to do, but with what you found out today, and planning for and executing your next step with radiation, and you not knowing in advance how you will feel when its all over, and considering the normal holidays ahead, no one would blame you or be mad at you, if the Valentine's event had to be canceled or postponed a few months.

Certainly your call, I support you either way

No land speed with nukes please. Everything else is secondary to being well. Anytime is good as long as there's time to make work adjustments and reservations. I was just in Orlando on business last week of October. It was in the 90's.
