Well it's the end of another wonderful week in the land of Oz.

Today I completed my third week of Rad treatments and numbers 10 through 15.

I am extremely happy to report that there are (hear me knocking loudly on wood) still no side effects from the treatments.

Next week should prove interesting though. Because of the holiday on Friday they are going to double me up on Monday. I go in for treatment #16 at 6:50am and then return at 1:10pm for treatment #17. They propose the same schedule for the following week because of New Year's.

Monday of this week Lynn had her 13th and final treatment and she is doing well. At least as well as she can with the steroids use. She now resembles the Female Twin of the Michelin Man. Christmas shopping for her will be interesting this year. I am limited to only presents that she won't be wearing. Gonna have to get creative this year.

I will post my usual weekly roundup on Thursday next week, just in time to wish all you wonderful folks a Merry Christmas.

Till then have a great weekend and week to come. Be careful out there and don't get run over by those last minutes shoppers.

Bless you all,

Sonny yeah turn smilewinkgrin

Good report Sonny, both on you and Lynn. You are down to your last 20. I admire you on the doubling up of treatments, with what happened to me, not sure I would have survived that 2nd one in the same day, at least not being on a stretcher. lol.

Hope things improve for Lynn, and more importantly that what she just underwent will help her.

Stay in touch, brother.

Sonny,

Good news on you and Lynn I am happy to hear she has finished her treatments and that yours are going well.  I know firsthand about the steriods my wife has autoimmune hepatitis from taking Lipator for her heart.  She has been on and off large doses of steriod for the last 3 years.  Good Luck and have a great holiday and New Year.
