Hey and Happy New Year to all you good people on HW!!!

I just had my CT scan for lung cancer and I am clean. I had my last PSA test last July and it was a big zero. What a difference a few years and some excellent doctors have made in my life. In 06 when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer I thought my life was probably over. My dad had died from PCa. Then in 08 they said I had lung cancer. But the dark days are over.

I attribute this change to a number of factors. First my family doctor was diligent and diagnosed both cancers in their early stage. Second we chose the most aggresive treatment available in both cases. But the best thing I did for long term support was to log onto this forum. Fighting cancer doesn't just happen during treatment. We need daily support and encouragement and HW is the best place to get it. I am a member of several cancer forums but this one is the best and you all make it that way.

Thank you all very much. Lets get well together.

Doting,

Isn't it nice that biker brought all of us "old timers" out of the woodwork! tongue

I think it must be his magnetic personality.
