This one is strange.

I read on this forum that it is recommended that we exercise "Willie" every so often to restore him to normal use and to kep the blod flowing. Well, today I gave willie some exercise and afterward I noticed that mt pads wer full of blood.  Has this ever happened to anyone?

I call the Dr and told him about it and he didn't seem disturbed. I have masterbated several times since surgery in September and never had this problem.

I eagerly await your replies.

I can't recall reading of anyone who got blood from masterbuting, especially 3 months after the surgery. If you continue to see it while peeing, or feel any pain, I'd call the doc back and ask for a closer exam of the problem. Ig you wait a week and do it again and see blood, I definetly would be knocking on doc's door. May be nothing, but after 3 months, most of the healing should be done, so who knows.

It seems unlikely to see blood after ********** 3 months after surgery. I had some blood but it was within weeks. You should follow up with your doctor. There are other medical conditions that cause bleeding which are not related to your PCa.
Age: 67 at Dx on 12/30/08
PSA 9/05 1.15; 8/06 1.45; 12/07 2.41; 8/08 3.9; 11/08 3.5 free PSA 11%
2 cores out of 12 were positive Gleason (4+4) and (4+5)
Negative CT scan and bone scan done on 1/16
Robotic surgery performed 2/9/09 Dr Fagin, Austin TX
Pathology report:
Prostate weighed 57 grams size:5.2 x 5.0 x 4.9 cm
Posterior lateral lesions measuring 1.5 x 1.4 x 1.0 cm showing focal capsular penetration over a distance of 3mm.
Prostatic adenocarciroma accounts for approx. 10-20% of the hemisphere.
Gleason 4+4
both nerve bundles removed,
pT3a Nx Mx, Negative margins
seminal vesicles clean, lymph nodes: not dissected

I had some blood from irritation of my urethra lining due to the catheter - that cleared up in a couple of weeks after it was removed
- when I started ********** again - a 4 weeks post-op , there was some spotting - (dime size amount on the pads) - but once I kept at it (every other day) - no further problem -
-it depends on if you have *********d during those prior three months.. the old phrase - "if you don't use it, you lose it" really pertains now to post-op PC.
- it could be the urethra stretching again and thus tearing a little - as stated above, if pee is bloody call your doctor
- if it continues to show up on the pads ( mine showed blood in the morning after, not during the day of)- call your doctor

-also, I find it less stressful if the ********** mimics penetration - doing an OK sign with your hand and then doing pelvic thrusts - like Kegels - rather than pulling on it - when aroused I get some increase in girth but not in length - so you want to take it step by step -
-hope this doesn't get edited too much - not trying to be rude, just guy talk ...
hugs

I am sorry to see that the word - master bating is viewed as a dirty work and thus edited. I thought it was a medical term.

in previous post -I meant to say -" dirty word" .... just like the late George Carlin and his seven words you can't say...

- seriously, is there a list of words we cannot use on this site, so I can make sure I play by the rules -

thanks

The software that runs this forum contains a word editor, and does edit out certain words, including master-bation or any combination, along with lots of other words that fit into the 'dirty word' category. It is funny to see some of the words or parts that triggers it. It's all auto and nothing personal.

Thanks for your all your responses to my post. By the end of the day all bleeding had stopped.
I was probably nothing, but it freaked me out.
