Barry, thank you, and I am truly sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Although my mother is pushing 83, and still lives alone, she is one year out of a stroke, still smoke like a chimney, and has full COPD, I am fearful she may not be with us much longer. I will say, she continues to live life on her terms. Hope your heart heals soon from that.

Thanks Tony, I admire your friend that does that, and for so long. My doctor knows that's not going to work for me, especially long term, and that there has to be another solution. Confidence is high going into this one, but the x factor is whatever damage the radiation actually did to the healthy tissue, and what scarring/swelling closed completely did over a 3 plus month period of time. Glad I am going to be knocked into the nether world while all this is going on. Just hoping to wake up to some good news.

Thanks, David.

Yes.  The healing has begun.

I hope your healing continues.

Thank you, Jeff, for remembering. The knocking me out part is always a free short time vacation from reality. Its the only time I have no worries, no hurts, no fears, actually no anything, lol. I have to hope my surgeon finds things inside very fixable. His greatest concern is the radiation burn and how much colateral damage he may/may not find in that delicate bladder neck area.

Can't eat or drink after midnight today, of course. But all systems are go.

Hey David,

I hope tomorrow's procedure is the last...and also the last catheter you'll have to deal with. You've had more bumps in your treatment than most.

Hoping all goes well tomorrow and that in a few weeks from now you'll be posting....yeah

We'll be thinking of you.

David,
Just catching up after being away for a week or so. It is the morning of the 19th here now so I guess you're in full preparation mode. I wish you all possible success with the op and the absolute best of outcomes. Take care ol' china (Aussie rhyming slang ........china plate = mate) and good health,

Thank you Linda and Bob.

Thanks, Mike, my friend, a little day surgery isn't going to keep my fingers from typing, lol. If they dont keep me overnight, hoping to update tommorow evening

Billy Mac, wondered where you had been, thanks for the encouragement, I am still a tough old buzzard underneath it all.

Thanks too in advance, to Lana and CJ

Best wishes. If attitude were the sole determinant of outcome, you'd be a shoo-in for no more problems. Here's hoping that's exactly the case.

Hospital called and moved it up two hours, now we got to leave house at 0700, not use to getting up in the middle of the night, lol.

Thanks so much Magaboo and Max. As they said in my days, all I can do is Keep on Trucking.

Thank you so much ,Sephie, I really enjoyed talking to John recently on the HW chat. Other than having bad tastes in sports teams, lol, sounded like a great guy. Just kidding, not everyone can be a Red Sox and Patriots devotee like me.
