Barry, thank you, and I am truly sorry to hear about
the loss of your mother. Although my mother is pushing 83, and still lives alone, she is one year out of a stroke, still smoke like a chimney, and has full COPD, I am fearful she may not be with us much longer. I will say, she continues to live life on her terms. Hope your heart heals soon from that.
Thanks Tony, I admire your friend that does that, and for so long. My doctor knows that's not going to work for me, especially long term, and that there has to be another solution. Confidence is high going into this one, but the x factor is whatever damage the radiation actually did to the healthy tissue, and what scarring/swelling closed completely did over a 3 plus month period of time. Glad I am going to be knocked into the nether world while all this is going on. Just hoping to wake up to some good news.
