I started on 5mg of Cialis last week as part of my ED routine. Yesterday and this morning I had a strong pain in my lower legs ( the calves) - I know pain in the legs is a side effect of Cialis but was wondering if the guys in the forum here on the maintenance dose had any comments or suggestions.
I used a bed-buddy heating bag this morning ( like the dry rice routine in sock - microwaved) and that helped.
Anything to avoid?
thanks

Right after surgery I could not tolerate cialis cause of that very thing. I gave it a break and did viagra for several months. I can now tolerate Cialis just fine. Looks like the build up in your system is just getting to you. Body Chemisty changes - give it time. Try every other day?

  Hi tatt
I was given free samples of 20mg cialis 4 days ago and after taking the first one, had leg pain , and the next day I had really bad lower back pain. Now don't know if this was caused by the drug or by the phyisical activity on that day, so I'm going to let things return to normal and take it again when I know that there could no other causes for this to happen. I'm hoping this will not happen the next time, as the pain was pretty severe, but the results were good.
Thanks for the information that cialis can cause leg pain, I didn't know that.

Tatt,
I always think of the Saturday Night Live bit on ED meds, it was one of those fake commercials. But I have had back pain but even worse is the headaches I get everytime. I sometimes just take half a tablet and that helps some. The Dr. told me to take a full tablet, but shoot, he is not the one getting the head and back pain. I am seeing improvement with time, but the post op neuropathy has kept me from taking the meds as often as I needed to. It appears that time is helping me more than the meds, but will wait and see. Some say a full year. But still enjoy my sex life so that is the good thing as I do continue to feel romantic.

thanks guys
- leg and back pain are a side effect of cialis for some
- the cialis.com site has a good easy to read guidelines as to effectiveness of product, side effects and caution guidelines - ie. you can't take cialis and nitrates ( for angina pain, nitrates, poppers and the like) and a whole bunch of other stuff...
- I got a high flush feeling when I tried viagra some years back, so fun time was not fun at all when you felt like you were going to be sick.- that is why I am trying maintenance dose cialis.
- a lot of it is still guesswork and fine tuning things to suit your own needs and body.
-all the best
