My urologist started me on 5 mg Cialis daily about 10 days ago. I have had some success before then with 50-100 mg Viagra. I also have some less than usable errections at night and AM. Has anyone here used both Cialis and Viagra together? There may be a post about this, but I found none.

BrainSurgeon,
Not sure about Cialis and Viagra together, but someone else might. I just restarted my ED rehab and split a 20mg of Cialis in half and had a fairly good response, with no headache. Will eventually take the 20mg as I build some tolerance. The others just left me feeling too bad to enjoy. Good luck and hope you find the right medicine.

The doc says try without but add 50 of Viagra if no result. Just wondered if anyone had done that. Get a flushed face with Viagra but nothing of other side affects.

Brain,

I have tried a half a cialis at times -- usually a few hours after a Viagra or Levitra ( which don't do much for me).

My reasoning being .. OK you V n' L guys had your chance at fame .. now Big C-AL is going to do your dirty work for you and linger for the next 24 hours to keep the blood flowing.

Of course it helps to have stacks of V L and C hanging around from All Day so you can do this if you wish.

I have tried both Viagra and Cialis together. Before the surgery, the combo would have sent me to the ER with the 4 hour+ erection. Now not much happens, except for the stuffed up sinus issue. You should always try Viagra on an empty stomach. Too much fatty food such as hamburgers, french fries, heavy salad dressings will totally negate Viagra working.

I learned to eat only chicken or light fish dinners if I wanted to use Viagra later. After the surgery, Levitra is the only drug that half-way works. But I switched to Trimix for hard erections. I still take Levitra for the blood flow issue.

Hey hb2006,

So if I read your post, you are using levitra and trimix at the same time? I just started on trimix, and use ed pills regularly with no real results, although there may be signs. I can't get the trimix dosage right on standard mix as I've gone from .1ml to .17ml to 2.4 ml and still not to full monty. Next pass is .3ml plus.

PSA 8/2009 5.6 Gleason 8

Pathology - totally contained in margins -one bundle spared
PSA now undetectable
Continance: Night and morning fine; mid day onward still not there yet.
Trying Trimix

My surgeon encouraged me to take cialis in the afternoon, and then pop a viagra when I wanted to get lucky. But he did check my blood pressure to make sure I would be fine.

He also told me that he had one guy take 8 viagra at a time once. LOL - said it landed him in the hospital, but did not quite kill him!

The 8 Viagra much have reduced his blood pressure to 75 over 50 or some really low number. That's one of the side effects that I noticed. I never took more than 2 Viagra pills within an hour. This was only after having a fatty food dinner. It still didn't work and was prior to PC Surgery.

I think it's too soon for anything to work for you. I didn't start Caverject until 6 months after the surgery and it worked fine, just couldn't stand the pain. I started Trimix at 11 months after surgery. But I was using the ED drugs at 6 weeks however not much happened. I wanted the increased blood flow so that's why I started so soon with Viagra.
