Hey Jerry,
I'm a biker, Kawasaki 500 H1E triple (aka the Widow Maker) but alas, I cannot join your group. As I have mentioned here before I have not told other people about my PCa. I know that is immature and a sign of a short penis and... Hey! Wait a minute! I DO have a short one now!
Thanks for setting this up. Even though I can't join please keep my house on your road trip map. I'd be honored to host a group of prostateless bikers.
I will gladly send the address offline if you need it.

Jerry, T-dog,
Yep I still have my H1E 500. There are not many still around. Most were wrapped around trees or blown up. I bought it 4 months before I got married. The first year I had it I broke a piston -at speed of course- just at the beginning of winter. We were living in an apartment and had no garage. I drained the fluids, cleaned everything well and ended up disassembling and rebuilding the Kaw in my living room. It was completely disassembled and displayed like an exploded version of engineering parts assembly drawing. My Y chromosome holder friends thought I married the best woman in the world for tolerating that. She still is. After 34 years we are still married.

Back then I only weighed 130 pounds. After the rebuild I could lay down on the tank smack the throttle open and watch the horizon fall away below the speedometer. I survived because I always backed off before flipping over. Widow Maker indeed.

Jeff
Married 34 years, DX Age 56. First routine PSA test on April 8, 09: 17.8. Start 2 weeks of Cipro to rule out protatitis. May '09 PSA: 22.6, 3 weeks later: PSA: 23.2.

- always admired guys on motorcycles - but grew up with a mother who was a nurse in the emergency ward of local hospital who told horror stories of bikers during the supper hour ... and the phrase, " no child of mine will ..."

- side note - am stocking up on the blue ribbon pins by pinkwings.com - Courtney is a twice cancer survivor ( at age 35 - is 47 now) - she is coming into Peterborough this summer for the Dragon Boat festival
- made four men aware of prostate cancer during the art show this weekend - like to give them out ...
note: she also has a blue bike PCa awareness pin for sale on her website - for those not into ribbons -

- if I can help one man by wearing this ribbon , it is doing its job.
-note- I am not affiliated with the pinkwings site -

hugs

My last bike was a Suzuki 500. Had three cyclinders but double up swep pipes on both side.  Drove it a few hundred miles once...Almost sold it there so I could ride the bus back and not get beat to death.

Hey JB,
The 500 2 stroke vibration just beats the driver to death. I was once told: "There are two types of Mach III riders. Those that are impotent, and those that will be."
I guess they were right... Sigh.
