I am 53 days post surgery and I am only able to achieve 80 per cent erection without ED pills (not yet enough for penetration). I have tried Viagra, Levitra and Cialis but none improves the hardness on my penis when erect. My concern now is that when I have erection, the base of my penis becomes larger than it was before surgery.Did any body experience that? I also have the feeling that my penis is now a little longer than it was. I was under the impression that it will be shorter after the surgery. Any comments?

Victor

Getting 80% is better then my zero percent.....

The uretha (spelling) is snipped during surgery and can cause an itty bitty amount of shortness.

You mentioned "feeling" longer...Is that the same as seeing more?

You are way ahead of average, so you should be happy. If the pills have no effect at all, try using a pump. If that is not working, then injections. But frankly, keep taking the pills and have patience. I think 80% after 2 months is pretty darn good. After a year is when you can start to wonder.

You are doing good for being 2 months out.  Just give it some more time. After a year, then start to be concerned.
Keep trying, keep using the pills, keep using the pump.  After time you may find that you need none of them.
In the meantime, explore other options to keep each other satisfied.  Hopefully  you wife is as open minded as mine and we found that making love does not always mean intercourse.

I to have more length but only when not erect, post surgery I could get to about 75% erect without meds. At 3 months I started using cialas, and everything worked great. At 4 months It woke up and meds were not needed, but I still use them once in a while for fun. It just takes time to heal, and think you are doing good. Hang in there it will come.

It has been 2 years since my surgery and I can let you know that I experienced the same situation with the pills that you are. When I discussed this with my doctor he suggested that I use a pump with the medication. The pump helped me get and maintain an erection hard enough for sexual intercourse. I then went online and did some research and found the Pos-T-Vac System. I have been extremely happy with this system and I continue to use my system to this day.

Thank you all for your replies.

Iam144, I will surely keep trying using the pills, pump.
Brad2513, I hope that I will do just like you but everybody is different. You are surely younger than me and that helps. What dosage of Cialis were you using?

I hope that it works. Otherwise, I might go for injections. It seems to be not painful and the erection is fast. I am just concerned with Peyronie disease.
