The American Urological Association is meeting for their annual conference this week in San Francisco. If your in the area, come see me at the Bostwick Laboratories booth. I will be representing Prostate Cancer International with Mike Scott. The Bostwick thing is from them in support of PCai and in support of the "New" prostate Cancer InfoLink. The AUA conference will have several new announcements including the AUA position on active surveillance, and new screening guidelines issued by the ACS and other groups. Stay Tuned.

Advanced Prostate Cancer at age 44 (I am 47 now)
pT3b,N0,Mx (original PSA was 19.8) EPE, PM, SVI. Gleason 4+3=7

LARP ~ 2/17/2007 at the City of Hope near Los Angeles.
Adjuvant Radiation Therapy ~ IMRT Completed 8/07
Adjuvant Hormone Therapy ~ 28 months on Casodex and Lupron.

I am currently not being treated, but I do have regular oncology visits.

Tony, is always a good feeling knowing you are out supporting us in the PC area. I am not in the area but hope you can provide us update afterwards.

PSA increased from 2.6 to 3.5 in one year
biopsy march 2008 - cancer present gleason 7
Robotic Surgery May 9, 2008 - houston, tx
Pathology report -gleason 8, clear margins
22 month  PSA <.04
continent at 10 weeks (no pads!)
ED is still an issue
