Gentlemen (and the few ladies) in this forum:  as do many, I've been lurking and reading during my journey for the last six months...thought it might do to thank you all for the being so open about your experiences.  10 months ago, I didn't know what a PSA test or reading even meant.  Now, nearing the first week of summer I'm happy to be in the zero club and finally getting my head around making the right decision to have surgery.  Had my first tri-mix adventure yesterday and it closed the loop on what was missing since the surgery 6 months ago.  For those evaluating what to do, and who worry about regaining "life in the bedroom" know this: it works! And, it really isn't such a big deal.

happy "Cancer Survivors Day" to all....
Age at Dx:  56
DaVinci Prostatectomy:  10/28/98
Stage: T2C
Gleason - 3+4 = 7
Prosate:  52 grams
Incontinence - absolutely
ED - Indeed
Married, father of two (boys 18 and 17)
6 months later:  member of the "zero" club, working on one pad for 24 hours.  Took Cialis for 4 months (no apparent affect), just had my 1st tri-mix yesterday, that worked in spades!
All good here in San Diego
