Today, St. Francis Hopsital  (my hospital of all my surgeries) here in Greenville, SC is the sponser of a free community PSA screening.  They will have doctors volunteering their time, and will be offering free PSA tests, free DRE's, and free PC counseling to those that attend.  They have set this up in a community center of one of the major African-American sections of Greenville.  All are invited to attend.

Last year, simillar program done by the Greenville Hospital Systems saw over 300 men.

Good people, hope they got a big turnout. Save some poor soul finding out as late as I did.

When they do the free screenings, at least in my area, they do target the African-American neighborhoods, due to the higher incidences of PC among African-American men in general. I will check the local news sources tommorow and see what kind of turnout they got this year.
