Thanks David,
Got to be with him at his home when he took his last breath, just like his Father, in the same home. Good memories and hope my kids can say the same thing when I am gone.

Michael, I am glad that you were good with your father, and have the fond memories to help you through this. My father died in 1993, and we had no kind of positive relationship, not even after he became ill about a year before his death. My last memory of him was him cussing me out in front of my oldest son (about 16 at the time) from his hospital bed, telling me to go get "F"'d. Not a nice way to remember someone.

Glad you have what you have. My mom is still with us, she's almost 83 and lives about 6 miles away, so my younger brother and I are close enough to keep an eye on her.

Tony and all my HW brothers,

I hope all of you had a great father's day. For many of us, it is our kids and grandkids that give us the ability to face this PC headon each day.

As our brother Sonny says "Every day is a gift !".

Just watched Koepka and DJ halve the 11th hole where at least a 2-shot swing in DJ’s favor looked inevitable. But I like Fleetwood’s chances sitting in the clubhouse at +2.

Hi, Tony. I hope you and everyone else enjoyed Father's Day. I certainly did. My son and I went to a whiskey tasting (I got a bottle of Weller 12 year...hard to find), and also to a shooting range and then my wife and I went over to his house for a cookout. Great day.

Still, there was a touch of sadness remembering that it was on June 17th exactly 25 years ago that my Dad passed away. He was 72, which is my age now, and since his birthday was August 8th and mine August 13, I guess that in about four more days I will have lived as long as he did. That's sort of an odd feeling, but I'm hoping for another decade. I have my name on a barrel of Maker's Mark down in Loretto, KY, that won't mature until 2023 or so, and I would definitely like to be alive when it reaches maturity.
