While sitting in the waiting area at the radiation oncology center in the hospital today, a rep from the American Cancer Society approached the two of us sitting there and offered up a free kit for keeping track of treatments, meds, etc. and lots of cancer realted pamphlets.  The thing I grabbed was a form to fill out for a $50.00 gas card that was available to help cover my fuel expenses going to treatment.  Never heard of something like this.  Guy next to me said he previously filled out the form and got a card in the mail in a few days.  For fifty dollars worth of gas the ACS can have my name on their mailing list!!!!  Squid.
