Hello all, I found this site by accident and I'm glad I did there is a ton of information here. I don't have prostate problems just the garden variety ED. I have read probably all the posts on ED but I have a few questions I would like help with. My Urologist has prescribed what I think is bimix it is Prostin 100mcg and Regitine 5mg I noticed when the guys are injecting the mix I never read where they draw back on the syringe to check if a vein has been hit. Is that OK? My doc has also prescribed the vacuum device and I have purchased the Augusta model, I also have prescription for MUSE but I think I will pass on that because of the negative success rate. Do you think the bimix I have is potent enough? I am supposed to inject 0.3ml but I might start with 0.2ml and titrate up I will pick it up tomorrow from the pharmacy. I have been using the pump but the penis rings that came with it all seem to be to small so I will stop at a sex shop and see what they have in stock.

Thanks for reading,

Welcome to the site. I'm an ED "patient" due to Mr. DaVinci and the radiation guys, and not yet to the shots. So, I'm not much for help for you, but a lot of the guys here have been down the shots route and will speak up.

Again, welcome, but sorry you're here -

No drawing back

You want to MISS a vein, not hit it

Get an auto injector, makes the process light years easier, safer and more successful

There is a process you need to follow to get 100% success every time, many posts detailing how to's
Age: 52, PSA (2008)=1.9
Biopsy on 01/09/09, Gleason Score = 3+3
One (1) out of twelve (12) cores was positive, plus external nodule found
Surgery (Da Vinci, robotic prostatectomy): 4/7/09
Post Op Path 3+3
Removed Catheter: 04/19/09
100% bladder control - Pad free 7/09
PSA undetectable tests , <0.01 – 3,9 and 16 months post-op
