Hi Folks... I posted earlier about an article on radiation damage. That was sent to me as a "news alert" by Google, automatically. I get about a dozen of them every day. Just so that all my brothers (and sisters who love them here) know, you can set a Google News alert on any subject - any word actually. You can setup as many "alerts" as you want.. you can opt to have them delivered "as they happen" or another "once a day", etc...

You can have it update you on specifically any or all of "news", "blogs", "video", "discussions".

So, you can select the term "prostate cancer - News" to be emailed to you as it happens. Then ALSO have "Radiation therapy" to be emailed to you once a day, etc..

For those with very specific interestes/concerns - eg. "Hormone Therapy", this can be especially helpful.

Or. like myself, you can add updates for "New England Patriots" TOO! :).

Just want you all to know. God bless, you're in my prayers.

Bob,
I used to have it on from Google but I really had to cut back the amount of notifications I was getting. I already get them from the PPML, the InfoLink, UroToday, and here. Not to mention Facebook and work. When my counts went to a couple hundred, I was skipping them anyway. You can get a lot of feeds through Google.

I've also set alerts for my name. It's surprising how many times it pops up. (In a good way!)
