My younger brother had robotic surgery Saturday and the doctor has pronounced him "healed." The cancer was organ confined and everything looked good.

I suspect, healed or not, he'll be seeing regular PSA tests. He already is facing a hospital stay twice as long as planned because his drainage isn't clearing up.

I've a PSA test and trip to the Uro scheduled to make sure I'm still healed.

stw,

good luck on your brother's operation, glad he's on the recovery side. if his doctor really pronounced him "healed" at this point, would sure make me nervous about the doctor. there's no way of even remotely knowing that ahead of any post-surgical PSA tests. I hope for his sake, this turns out to be true.

hope your next reading is a good one too. let us know
