The laundry's done; the fire pits are ready; the oxy-acetylene tanks are full; I have two full propane cylinders for the grill, and the grocery shopping is done. I'm ready.

I made reservations for dinner at the local farm/cider mill/winery for Friday 6:30 - 7:00 so don't be driving too slowly. I told him there will be around 6 people.

Sonny called a little while ago and should be arriving here in 2 hours. Great.

This sure is fun.

Oh, and the oil slick I arranged for Cajun Jeff is now smeared over the top 10 feet of driveway closest to the house.

Just finishing up the last work to be done (for now) work. Then one last quick check on my (little) RV and off in the morning.

Looks like you've done a lot of prep, Jeff!

See you tomorrow. Safe trip to all.

I'm planning on next year already!

Hey Paula and Jeff. Make sure you leave on time so you arrive here at an early hour.
This is not NYC -where the city never sleeps - This is the country where folks go to bed early. I told the farm/cider mill/winery that we are arriving before 7:00.

Early to bed and early to rise is GFMPH!

Sonny and I are gong to sit outside now and finish our Decaf coffees.

See you soon.

It's a beautiful morning in the country side of NY. I am sitting outside my RV in the back forty of Jeff's place and logged into his wireless network.

We arrived here yesterday afternoon and were met in the street by Jeff and his lovely wife, Barb. It took a little patience, but with relatively minor damage to Jeff's property (ran over the hose connections and tweaked his basketball backboard just a little) we are parked, leveled and connected to electricity and water on Jeff's new crushed stone driveway.

Our first night here was a great success. We all went to dinner at a great Italian place. Came back and enjoyed coffee outside in the back yard and saw the deer roaming on the property before retiring. Slept like a baby with the windows open and enjoyed the cool, crisp night air. This is a real treat for us florida folks. We either have the AC on or the heat at home. There is not much in between at home.

This weekend has already shown it will be definitely good for my mental health. It is difficult to describe how much I have already relaxed in the short time I have been here. Can't wait for the rest of the guys to arrive this afternoon.

Those of you that could not make it here this year have got to put it on your calendar for next. And I say this with great anticipation with what lies ahead throughout the weekend. I mean it hasn't really started yet and already Jeff shows what a tremendous host he is and the fun that lies ahead.

I am sure there will be much more to update later as the festivities begin to unfold.
